Chef at your villa
The class happens in the kitchen you already rented. No hotel pickup and no shared school bench.

You choose the length and a lunch or dinner start. Class time is cooking and eating, not a road transfer.
Ingredients included
Shopping is in the class price. You are not billed groceries on top, and the kitchen is left clean.
4–6 dishes, then the meal
You cook the menu with the chef, then sit down and eat every dish you made.
Diploma and recipe cards
Each guest gets a personalised diploma with their name and the date, plus printed cards for a home kitchen.
Uniforms and chef hats
A full set for every guest during the cooking block.

Canggu
Berawa, Batu Bolong, Echo Beach, Pererenan. The class comes to the villa.
Seminyak
Petitenget, Oberoi, Batu Belig. Keep the beach day and cook in the evening.
The same class also comes to a villa in Ubud, Sanur, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta. Send the pin. Book at least two days ahead so ingredients, diplomas, and the chef are set. Short-notice dates need full payment to confirm.

How much does the cooking class cost?
From IDR 700,000++ per person. All-in is IDR 847,000 per person: the listed price plus 10% service and 11% government tax. Minimum 6 guests, so the smallest booking is IDR 4,200,000++ (IDR 5,082,000 all-in). The written quote shows that total before you confirm.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
Yes. 6 guests. A smaller group is billed at that six-guest floor, not at a lower headcount. Extra guests above six pay the same IDR 847,000 all-in each. Children count as guests.
What’s included in the price?
The chef at your villa, all ingredients, 2.5 or 3 hours, 4–6 dishes you cook and then eat, uniforms and chef hats, a personalised diploma with your name and the date, printed recipe cards, and a full kitchen clean-up. Wine, hotel pickup, and a market tour are not included.
How long is the class?
2.5 or 3 hours at the villa. Tell us which length you want, and whether you prefer a lunch or dinner start. There is no hotel pickup and no minibus.
Do we eat the food we cook?
Yes. You cook 4–6 dishes, then sit down and eat every one of them.
Can the chef come to our villa in Canggu or Seminyak?
Yes. The class is held in your villa kitchen in Canggu, Seminyak, a villa in Ubud, Sanur, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, or Kuta. Send the area and a kitchen photo if the hob is unusual.
How far in advance should we book?
At least two days. Ingredients, diplomas, and the chef need that lead time. Short-notice dates need full payment to confirm.
Is it hands-on?
Yes. You pound base genep and cook with the chef. The pace is set by your group, not by a room of strangers.
Can the menu be vegan or adjusted for allergies?
Yes, if you say so in the first message. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, milder spice, peanut, candlenut, and shrimp paste all change the shop.
Is this a cooking class or a private chef dinner?
A cooking class means you cook with the chef and eat what you cooked. A private chef dinner is a different booking: they cook for you. This page is the class.
Can children join?
Yes. Children count toward the six-guest minimum and pay the same rate. There is no kids price.
Is wine included?
No. Drinks are separate from the class price.
